Our Belief

            Jesus Christ is the only way of Salvation.

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me."

         The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God.

All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

Our Story          

      Faith Lutheran Church, Metropolis, IL has been a member of the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations since December 1996. By the grace of God, we held our first service in a garage and since then we have held our services in our members' homes, the old Girl Scout house near Fort Massac, and a rented building in Metropolis. We moved to our  current home at 3464 Old Marion RD on July 1, 1998. Throughout the years we have felt the tremendous blessings of God; materially, physically, and most of all, spiritually!  We invite you to visit us and to hear the Truth of the Word of God and to share in the fellowship and joy that can only be found through worshiping and serving HIM!

 

Our Location

Faith Lutheran Church is located at 3464 Old Marion RD, Metropolis, IL1 1/4 miles north of Massac County High School or 3/4 miles northof the intersection of Country Club RD and Old Marion RD.
